matrixctl GitHub

Matrix

A control plane for agentic software delivery.

Run AI coding agents across your whole product, not one repository at a time, and follow the work from roadmap to merged pull request in a single console.

Matrix is under active development. The repository is private for now and will be released as open source.

From plan to pull request

Matrix connects the planning your team already does to the agents that do the work.

  1. RoadmapPlans live in Jira or GitHub Projects
  2. EpicsLarge pieces of work that can span several repos
  3. StoriesAssigned to a developer
  4. Agent runsStarted in the CLI, tracked in the console
  5. Pull requestsOpened and merged on GitHub

What is being built

Product-level, not repo-level
Roadmaps, epics and stories sit above your repositories, so agents work against the whole product instead of one repo at a time.
Works with your tracker
Jira and GitHub Projects for planning, GitHub for code. The console respects each person's existing access, so people see only what they could already see.
A CLI for developers, a console for everyone
Developers sign in, see their assigned tasks and start working with an agent. Everyone else sees epics, progress and who is on what, in one place.
Workflows, skills and policies
Defined on the server, so a team shares one way of working and controls how its agents operate.
Cost you can see
Token usage and run metrics across projects and epics, so spend never comes as a surprise.
Self-hosted on Kubernetes
Deploy to any cluster with a Helm chart. Your data and your runtime stay with you.

The code goes public when the foundations are ready. Until then, follow matrixctl on GitHub to see it when it lands.
